We are currently looking for reinforcement for our internal IT team. Specifically, we are looking for a responsible and open-minded individual who is available for at least 30 hours per week and who would like to take the lead in developing and designing the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure within TGW Group. 

What you'll be handling:

  • Development of an overall VDI strategy and roadmap within the cloud and on-premises IT architecture landscape
  • You are responsible for architecture governance, decision-making bodies, standards, and policies in accordance with ISO 27001
  • Implementation and further development of company-wide virtual desktop infrastructure and remote support services
  • Definition and monitoring of infrastructure standards
  • Support and coordination of projects with a focus on client virtualization, virtual desktop infrastructure, terminal servers, jump host solutions with a focus on Citrix, XEN servers, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Windows 365
  • Installation and integration of new environments
  • License and supplier management
  • Evaluation of new technologies and market watch with regard to long-term investment decisions
  • Close cooperation with business architecture, IT strategy, security, and portfolio management
  • Communication and management of internal and external partners

What you'll need:

  • Successfully completed HTL, FH, or university degree—ideally in the field of IT
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • In-depth technical knowledge in the areas of IT infrastructure, Citrix environment, AzureVirtual Desktop, Windows 365, remote support
  • Experience in company-wide technology decisions
  • Enjoyment of conceptual work at the enterprise level
  • Experience in project management and communication with internal stakeholders
  • Very good English skills
  • Ideally, good German skills

We offer an attractive salary in line with market conditions, depending on qualifications and professional experience. The minimum gross salary under the collective agreement for full-time employment is EUR 53.242 per annum.
