In this position, you will strengthen our product development team in the field of mechatronic product development and have the opportunity to use your know-how to further optimize the existing product kit.

What you'll be handling:
- Processing of a wide range of tasks in the area of product maintenance and product improvement along our existing portfolio in coordination with the responsible product owner
- Optimization of assemblies and components in terms of costs, quality, manufacturability, taking into account the applicable standards and legal requirements
- Implementation of improvement or savings potentials together with internal interfaces such as purchasing, production and assembly
- Maintain and update the tools and processes in the value chain (e.g. BOM generator), product documentation (e.g. technical data, assembly and spare parts documentation, etc.) and risk assessments
What you'll need:
- Completed technical education (HTL or higher) in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or automation technology
- Practical technical understanding and interest in optimizing existing products and assemblies
- Confident handling of CAD systems (e.g. SolidWorks 3D, AutoCAD 2D) and ideally experience with tools for task and project tracking (e.g. Jira)
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working with a high level of implementation competence
- Ability to work in a team and enjoy working with interdisciplinary interfaces and external partners
- Good written and spoken English and German skills

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 48.413 Euro.
