As a Principal Technology Architect, you share responsibility with a specialized team for the current and future technologies used at TGW Logistics. You translate our corporate strategy into technical solutions, actively shaping the scope of delivery for tomorrow.

Divided into the domains of software, automation technology, and intralogistics systems, we contribute our expertise in both evaluation and development projects in a targeted manner.

  • You are the technological pace-setter for future-proof, scalable, and secure automation solutions in our logistics systems.
  • You define and further develop architectural principles, technologies, and standards for our modular intralogistics system toolkit. You evaluate and select suitable technologies and platforms. You act as an interface between the market, technology providers, and our development department.

Was uns überzeugt:

  • Completed degree (University of Applied Sciences/University) in Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical field
    Several years of professional experience (5–10 years) in automation technology or in plant and/or mechanical engineering
  • Strong communication skills in German and English, along with a high level of assertiveness
    In-depth understanding of complex technical systems and system architectures
    Excellent knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Control, network, safety, drive, and visualization technology
    • OT network architectures including security, as well as industrial communication protocols
    • Embedded systems
    • Software systems and platforms

We offer an attractive and market-competitive salary, depending on qualifications and professional experience. The minimum gross base salary according to the collective agreement, based on full-time employment, is €54,730 per year.
