As part of the Exploration Accelerator team within the Innovation Management department, you will not only evaluate new technologies theoretically, but also systematically validate their potential through structured experiments, demonstrators and proof-of-concepts. In this way, you will create the basis for well-founded technology, portfolio and investment decisions at TGW Logistics.

What you'll be handling:

  • Planning, setting up and conducting experiments to validate new technologies in the field of robotics, physical AI and intelligent automation
  • Development, testing and evaluation of prototypes, demonstrators and proof-of-concepts
  • Analysis and evaluation of new technologies with regard to technical feasibility, maturity, scalability and benefits for future TGW solutions
  • Integration and evaluation of robotics platforms, sensor technology, embedded systems, computer vision and AI/ML solutions
  • Implementation of technology benchmarks and support of technology scouting activities
  • Cooperation with universities, research institutions, start-ups and technology partners
  • Documentation of experiments, findings and recommendations for action to support strategic technology and portfolio decisions
  • Knowledge development and know-how transfer within the organization in the field of robotics, physical AI and artificial intelligence
  • Further development of the internal technology exploration process

What you'll need:

  • Degree in robotics, artificial intelligence, computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation technology, data science or comparable
  • Practical experience in at least one of the following areas: Robotics, Physical AI, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Embedded Systems, Autonomous Systems or Intelligent Automation
  • Experience in building, integrating and evaluating hardware and software solutions
  • Know-how in the development and validation of prototypes, test systems or proof-of-concepts
  • Ability to translate complex questions into structured experiments and measurable results
  • Analytical thinking skills and a solution-oriented way of working
  • Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and with external partners
  • Very good knowledge of German and English

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 55.772 Euro.
