As a Retrofit Sales Engineer, you’ll serve as the central technical hub for modernization, expansion, and retrofit projects involving existing intralogistics systems. Together with our existing customers and internal experts, you’ll develop customized solutions that are technically sound, economically viable, and create sustainable added value.
What you'll be handling:
- Technical planning and development of innovative retrofit solutions for existing intralogistics systems
- Analysis of customer requirements and technical consulting on complex issues
- Developing concepts, layouts, and technical proposals in collaboration with the sales team
- Responsibility for technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and the calculation of manufacturing costs
- Coordinating technical discussions with internal departments as well as external partners and suppliers
- Presenting and advocating for technical solutions to existing customers
What you'll need:
- Completed technical training with a focus on mechatronics, mechanical engineering, automation technology, or electrical engineering, as well as expertise in mechanics, automation, and control systems
- Understanding of logistics processes, material flows, and overall technical systems
- Experience working with CAD systems (2D/3D) and very good knowledge of MS Office
- A structured, independent work style and a strong focus on finding solutions
- Strong communication skills, a confident demeanor, and good German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 47.547 Euro.
