Sales Manager Lifetime Services, 1. image

As Sales Manager Lifetime Services, you will develop individual service concepts together with our customers and accompany them from the initial idea to the conclusion of the contract. In doing so, you will combine technical understanding with commercial thinking and a clear view of the customer's requirements.

You will work closely with our plant sales department and the experts from the various service areas. This results in solutions that are not only convincing on paper, but also create sustainable added value in daily operation.

What you'll be handling:

  • You will develop tailor-made service concepts for new and existing automated systems
  • You will accompany our customers during the sales phase and represent the interests of Lifetime Services.
  • Together with the plant sales department, you will analyze customer requirements and translate them into convincing, economically viable service offerings.
  • You will coordinate cooperation with our departments, such as Remote Services, Field Services, On-Site Services, Training, Spare Parts and Digital Services.
  • You will conduct customer workshops, present service concepts and accompany commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • You will prepare calculations, concept presentations, offers and service contracts.
  • After successfully concluding the contract, you will ensure a structured handover to the responsible service and key account management teams.
  • With your experience from customer projects, you will actively contribute to the further development of our sales processes, calculation models and service offerings.

What you'll need:

  • You have experience in technical sales, service sales, after sales or key account management.
  • You enjoy understanding complex customer requirements and developing clear, convincing solutions from them.
  • You have technical understanding, ideally in the areas of intralogistics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation or IT.
  • Commercial relationships, calculations and contract content are not a compulsory exercise for you, but part of a professional customer solution.
  • You are authoritative, communicate clearly and can bring together different internal and external interests.
  • You work independently, in a structured and results-oriented manner.
  • You have a very good knowledge of German and good English, at least at B2 level.
  •  You see international customer contacts and a travel activity of around 20 percent as an enriching part of your job.

What you'll receive:

  • Wide variety of tasks and room for creativity
  • Working with high-quality IT equipment and the latest technologies
  • Flexible working hours and a generous home office model
  • Responsibility in a successful international company with a strong focus on culture and values
  • A well-structured training period and support by experienced colleagues
  • Good transport connections, free parking, shuttle service to the train station and between TGW locations, e-bikes, etc.
  • Collaboration in a committed team, individual opportunities to contribute, clear goals and an open feedback culture
  • Sustainability and security of a foundation-owned company: the majority of profits remain within the company and are reinvested, another part is going to charitable projects

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 55.625 Euro.
