As a Solution Designer in the retrofit division, you will serve as the central point of contact throughout the entire project. Working closely with the sales team, you will develop customized expansion and intralogistics concepts for our existing customers. In doing so, you will support and advise customers on technical solutions related to material flow and system design, and act as a partner to them.

What you'll be handling:

  • Analysis and evaluation of current and relevant customer processes and requirements
  • Development of intralogistics systems based on data analysis
  • Material flow planning and system design
  • Developing an optimal mechatronic solution in collaboration with the sales engineer
  • Creating expansion or modernization concepts
  • Assessing the technical and scheduling feasibility of implementation, including budgetary evaluation, preparing proposals, and presenting them to customers
  • Maintaining ongoing contact with the customer’s technical and operational contacts

What you'll need:

  • Completed technical training in automation technology, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, etc.
  • Several years of professional experience, preferably in intralogistics
  • Experience in process design and functional specifications
  • Understanding of complex processes and interfaces
  • Ability to work well in a team, a customer-focused approach, and a solution-oriented work style
  • Strong communication skills in German and English, as well as self-organization and flexibility
  • Willingness to travel

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 47.547 Euro.
