In this role at TGW, you will play a central role in the further development of our simulation products. You will combine technical excellence with leadership and actively contribute to the development of our software, while simultaneously leading and developing a highly qualified development team.

You will ensure that our high-performance software products are developed to be stable, scalable, and innovative, and you will play a key role in improving the time-to-market and technical quality of our solutions.

What you'll be handling:

Technical Responsibilities

  • Developing new features and enhancing our simulation products for warehouse execution software
  • Overseeing software design, architectural decisions, and code quality
  • Reviewing complex technical concepts and supporting the team with technical challenges
  • Ensuring best practices, clean code, and CI/CD
  • Working closely with the Product Owner, QA, and other development teams

Leadership & Team Responsibility

  • Technical and managerial leadership of a 10-person software development team distributed internationally
  • Coaching and professional development of team members
  • Conducting 1:1 meetings and setting performance goals
  • Fostering an open and collaborative team culture
  • Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new team members

What you'll need:

  •  Several years of experience in software development (ideally C#/.NET) in complex technical domains
  • In-depth knowledge of software architecture, OOP, and clean code
  • Experience with CI/CD, testing, and modern development processes (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Excellent German and English language skills
  • Initial management experience or a senior profile with a clear ambition for leadership
  • Ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and conflict resolution skills
  • Analytical thinking, a performance-oriented mindset, and high standards for quality

We offer an attractive and competitive salary, based on qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement stipulates a minimum gross annual salary of € 60.963 for a full-time position.
